“What a man takes in his hands”Otoko ga Sono Te ni toru Mono wa)
“What a man takes with him.”
As leaked and as I noted here two weeks ago, a second “season” of Illegitimate In production. This effectively keeps the room divided, although there is an unusually long break as the second one won’t air until 2026 (I think it’s in the winter). The main question, of course, is whether we are only Take two courses, or they only represent the first half of the adjustment. He needs four for full adaptation, and he definitely deserves one. a guard It is very popular, but time will tell if it is popular enough for that.
I have – in case you couldn’t tell – a real crush on this series. This applies to both the perfect adaptation (as expected from Bones) and the manga itself. She never tries to do too much. The sense of self is very strong with this. He knows exactly what it is and why it works, and delivers time after time. It is striking that the spin-off is so different in tone from the original series and remains completely true to its spirit. When the topic turns to derivative anime, I think this game is on a very short list of contenders for best of all time. He does it very well.
For the most part, this is a quiet ending to the finale, as most of last week’s big events happened. The department store’s performance was a huge success, and Kazuho (wonderfully) excelled at it. Having her in the role of Casa Kouichi is as normal as can be at this point, though it’s clear that the two view it very differently. Something is clearly missing – no sign of Knuckleduster. There’s just a hint of doubt creeping into Kouichi’s cheerful demeanor about this, but right now he doesn’t betray any feeling that there’s anything wrong.
Captain Celebrity has emerged as an interesting element and character in the story in its own right. For all his silly tendencies toward Popinjay, he’s actually pretty good at his job. Also (although Makoto undoubtedly gets some of the credit) he’s not arrogant – he’s happy to offer help where it’s needed (although… He was Like more downtime). He is the hero that Koichi interacts with more than anyone else (because he is usually in the trenches). And his warning to Koichi that maybe he should back out of the hero stuff is well-intentioned. The truth is that most of the time what Koichi’s interference does is make him need to be saved – though in the meantime, he allows others to escape to safety on their own.
A new group is brought in for Marukane’s next concert, “Little Sisters”. FeatherS’s Miu (or maybe it was Yuu) promises them a hero look – which is a problem since CC is involved in filming a commercial with Ingenium. In a pinch, it’s The Crawler who steps in, deciding to greet the audience with a song – unbeknownst to him, sung by one of the Little Sisters during the first set. Chris will eventually show up – but only to rescue Kouichi once again, after the bat villain (under the thumb of the new Bee user) swoops in and kidnaps him.
When they return home, Koichi and Bob are surprised to see Oguro’s joints and mask waiting for them. At this point, it seems like it’s been several days since they’ve seen him, and it’s rather touching that Kouichi honestly takes the opportunity to wash said items rather than interpreting it as a parting gift. What is clear here is that Oguro-san has become a major part of these children’s lives – the “head of the family” as Koichi calls him. Knuckle is a very gruff guy, Kouichi is 19 with two dads, but it’s clear what this relationship has evolved into. Mom and Dad are far away from each other, and at 19 years old he is still a child, and as for Kazuho – she is really a child and it seems that she is not close to her parents. She gets the idea that Oguro has no idea how much they depend on him.
This entire scene – along with the scenes of Oguro in the hospital – is a surprising shocker in the depressing department. Sober and low-key, just as a guard It usually is, but it’s very effective. Tamao has woken up and, more importantly, is back to herself – but it is clear that she has been damaged in many ways by the trauma she has endured. Suga faithfully observed Oguro’s absence, and upon his return his daughter immediately asked where her mother was. “I just missed her,” he says, a line full of ominous overtones. Oguro has clearly decided that his family is his only priority now – but how much of it does he have left?
The relatively low finish is only suitable for a grounded and balanced string e.g Illegitimate. The best of the story is certainly yet to come, though again this goes back to what the entire adaptation will be like. with Boku no Hero Academia There was never any doubt that the manga could be fully adapted (although… Haikyuu The experience injected a bit of foreboding that was done in film form). This is it HeroAca But it’s not – a guard It is very much its own thing. I like this but it also makes the adjustment process uncertain. Whatever the case, the quality of this series has been firmly established for a wider audience now, and that’s something to celebrate.
