KonoSuba: God’s blessing on this wonderful world Season 4 has revealed a new main image, along with a 2027 release date and main cast. The new part was first announced after the BONUS STAGE OVA episodes on March 14, 2025.
Studio ENGI will be responsible for the animation, with Takamui Kanasaki as lead director and Manabu Kurihara as director. The full main cast includes:

KonoSuba: God’s blessing on this wonderful world! (Kono Subarashi Sekai ni Shukofuku Wo!) is a light novel series written by Natsumi Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima. It debuted in 2013 and ended in 2020 with a total of 17 volumes. The series has since expanded to include numerous spin-offs, side stories, and adaptations of the popular anime.
Anime adaptation has been tackled by many studios over the years.
- DEEN Studio produced the first two seasons of the television anime.
- The Megumin-focused spin-off was acquired by Studio Drive in 2023, KonoSuba: Explosion in this wonderful world! And the third season of the main anime.
- JC Staff was responsible for the 2019 anime film, KonoSuba: God’s blessing on this wonderful world! Crimson legend.
Crunchyroll is streaming the anime, and describes the story as follows:
After suffering an unfortunate traffic accident, Kazuma Sato finds himself in front of a goddess named Aqua. She offers him the opportunity to be reincarnated into a fantasy world, allowing him to bring one thing of his choosing. Instead of choosing a powerful item, Kazuma chooses Aqua herself. The two are transported to a new world full of adventure, where Kazuma wants nothing more than a peaceful life – but Aqua has other plans, and the looming threat of the Demon King won’t make things easy for them.
