Mushoku Tensei: The reincarnation of the unemployed Season 3 revealed Episode 5 preview images and synopsis ahead of the August 2 premiere. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime as part of its Summer 2026 lineup.
The anime previously revealed images of Rudy, Roxy, and Sylvette upon his entrance The arc of rude adolescence. Episode 5 is titled “Another Domestic Disaster,” and you can watch preview images, trailer, and synopsis below.
Roxy is assigned to protect the Princess of Ranua, and Rudeus decides to accompany her. They are joined by the adventurer team Amazons Ace, who will also be escorting. Among them is an unexpected face: Sarah, a former member of Counter Arrow, the adventurer group Rudeus once traveled with.
The main cast has been previously announced and includes:

Season 3 will begin with Volume 14, in which Seven Seas describes the story:
Nanahoshi, Rudeus, and the rest of their group journey to the mysterious floating castle of Perugius, in search of adventure and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn new magic. What they find instead is a disaster where one of them has contracted a deadly disease. How far will Rudeus go to save the life of a dear friend?
Two previous voice cast members have joined the cast for the new season, including:

The anime is based on the light novel by Rifujin na Magonote with illustrations by Shirotaka. Seven Seas publishes the light novel in English.
The series is also releasing a game titled Mushoku Tensei: The Reincarnation of the Unemployed – A History of Echoes this year. It is a free-to-play game with in-app purchases developed by ASOBIMO.
