Mushoku Tensei: The reincarnation of the unemployed Season 3 has revealed Episode 4 preview images and synopsis ahead of the July 19 premiere. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime as part of its Summer 2026 lineup.
The anime previously revealed images of Rudy, Roxy, and Sylvette upon his entrance The arc of rude adolescence. Episode 4 is titled “A King-Class Water Mage,” and you can watch the preview images, trailer, and synopsis below.
With the help of Zanoba and Cliff, Rudeus obtains…He delivers Zalev’s prosthetic hand will serve as his new left hand. However, the danger to his family may return one day. Motivated by the thought “I don’t want to lose anyone else,” Rudeus continues his search and finally asks Roxy to teach him royal-grade water magic.

Season 3 will begin with Volume 14, in which Seven Seas describes the story:
Nanahoshi, Rudeus, and the rest of their group journey to the mysterious floating castle of Perugius, in search of adventure and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn new magic. What they find instead is a disaster where one of them has contracted a deadly disease. How far will Rudeus go to save the life of a dear friend?

The anime is based on the light novel by Rifujin na Magonote with illustrations by Shirotaka. Seven Seas publishes the light novel in English.
The series is also releasing a game titled Mushoku Tensei: The Reincarnation of the Unemployed – A History of Echoes this year. It is a free-to-play game with in-app purchases developed by ASOBIMO.
